Unconventional American manufacturing

We manufacture what the requirement demands.

Devlin Industries develops specialized defense and dual-use products across optics, embedded electronics, rugged mechanical assemblies, power systems, and software.

We work from operational need through prototype, supplier development, ruggedization, and repeatable low-rate manufacturing.

Design priorities
  • Own the product architecture across hardware and software.
  • Address sourcing, assembly, and serviceability early.
  • Design around field constraints rather than presentation requirements.
  • Create a credible path from working prototype to repeatable production.

Manufacturing model

Engineering is only useful when it can be built.

Devlin Industries treats manufacturing as part of product development—not as a separate handoff after the design is complete.

Materials, component availability, assembly, sealing, wiring, maintainability, and supplier risk are considered throughout the development process.

  1. 01

    Define the requirement

Establish the mission, environment, interfaces, constraints, operator needs, and expected production stage.

  2. 02

    Architect the system

Develop a unified mechanical, electrical, optical, embedded, and software architecture.

  3. 03

    Build and iterate

Produce functional prototypes, test interfaces, identify weaknesses, and revise quickly.

  4. 04

    Ruggedize

Address enclosure design, sealing, strain relief, mounting, power integrity, thermal behavior, and serviceability.

  5. 05

    Develop the supply chain

Identify components, manufacturing partners, alternate sources, fabrication methods, and domestic or allied pathways.

  6. 06

    Prepare for production

Refine assembly procedures, test criteria, documentation, and manufacturing methods for repeatable low-rate output.

COSAK

A modular, helmet-mounted augmented-reality C5ISR platform.

COSAK is designed to add digital information to existing night-vision and optical systems. The platform combines compact embedded computing, display integration, navigation, thermal imagery, operator symbology, and modular sensor interfaces.

It is both a product platform and a proof point for Devlin Industries’ manufacturing model: electronics, optics, software, mechanical design, ruggedization, and supply-chain development brought together under one architecture.

Demonstrated
  • Helmet-mounted modular display
  • Compass and waypoint navigation
  • Thermal video fusion
  • Configurable HUD symbology
Platform direction
  • External sensor reporting
  • Tactical-network integration
  • Inertial and GPS-assisted navigation
  • C5ISR data overlays

Roadmap capabilities are under development and should not be interpreted as presently fielded or production-ready.

06 / Autonomous

UAS and autonomous systems

Payloads, sensors, embedded computing, communications, and power subsystems for unmanned and distributed platforms.

Why Devlin

Built for the requirement the catalog cannot satisfy.

Hardware and software together

Physical interfaces, embedded code, optics, power, and operator experience are developed as one system.

Production intent from the start

Sourcing, fabrication, assembly, and maintainability influence architecture before the prototype becomes expensive to change.

Unusual requirements are expected

We are oriented toward constrained form factors, specialized interfaces, demanding environments, and low-volume needs.

Field constraints over slideware

Weight, ergonomics, serviceability, sealing, power, and operator workload matter more than abstract feature counts.

Company

A Pacific Northwest manufacturer for specialized systems.

Devlin Industries is a Washington-based product-development and manufacturing company focused on specialized defense and dual-use technology.

The company develops complete products across mechanical, electrical, optical, embedded, and software disciplines, then establishes the supplier and manufacturing pathways required to deliver them.

Engagement profile

Where Devlin fits

  • A working concept needs to become a manufacturable system.
  • Existing products cannot meet the size, interface, power, or environmental requirement.
  • A specialized assembly is needed in quantities that larger suppliers may not prioritize.
  • Hardware, firmware, optics, and mechanical design must be integrated under one owner.
  • The supply chain must be developed alongside the product.
Leadership
